BTP for Compact Loaders
Deep Sand Bed Preparation Tool
Our Deep Sand Bedding Preparation Tool (BTP) was specifically developed to meet the unique needs of a UK zoo looking for a faster, more efficient way to cultivate the sand in their elephant enclosure. Compacted sand poses a risk to the elephants' health, as hard surfaces can lead to ligament issues, so the task of cultivating the sand was crucial—but labour-intensive, taking the zookeepers an entire day to complete using their Avant compact loader.
Since its introduction, the BTP has been adopted by multiple zoos in the UK and Germany, thanks to its effectiveness and time-saving capabilities. Custom-built for use with compact loaders, the BTP ensures the well-being of large animals like elephants by maintaining a soft, supportive surface with minimal effort.
