As a turnkey manufacturer and solutions provider, having the capability to carry out any welding work is essential. Our team of skilled fabricators works from a dedicated facility, which is fully equipped with all the necessary industry-standard equipment. They are currently set up for both MIG and TIG welding, with the capability to weld both carbon and stainless steel.
We adhere to strict quality control guidelines, ensuring every product or component they produce is of the highest standard. As part of this quality control process, our Fabrication Manager is qualified in visual welding inspection.
Our welding and fabrication capabilities enable us to manufacture our entire Kustom Konnect range in-house, as well as produce custom-made products or components for our clients.
For projects that require processes outside of our current capabilities, we have long-standing partnerships with trusted local fabricators. In addition to broadening the services we can offer clients, this allows us to quickly scale production for larger projects.
Plasma Profiling
A key component of our turnkey manufacturing capability is plasma profiling. Our dedicated fabrication facility is home to an 8x1.5m Esprit Lightning S1500 profile cutting system, fitted with a Hypertherm XPR300 plasma cutter.
This system plays a crucial role in the production of our Kustom Konnect range, as it enables us to quickly produce the parts needed for our innovative head plates and interfaces while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Not only does this machine provide a high degree of accuracy, but thanks to the 8x1.5m cutting bed, we are able to produce a much wider range of parts in-house. Furthermore, in this configuration, we are able to cut steel up to 80mm thick.
Fabrication
Welding, Plasma Profiling & Press Brake Folding
Our fabrication capabilities include MIG and TIG welding, plasma profiling, and press brake folding, in addition to various cutting capabilities. We operate a dedicated facility in Gloucestershire, enabling us to take on a broad range of fabrication projects.
With over 25 years of experience in welding and fabrication, our team has all the skills and knowledge necessary to engineer bespoke solutions for any project. This team is also responsible for producing our Kustom Konnect range of excavator head plates and loader interfaces.

Press Brake Folding
Press brake folding is a vital component of our manufacturing capabilities at Wheatway Solutions. Our Amada 80-ton CNC press brake is capable of precisely folding material up to 2.5 metres wide, allowing us to provide a wide range of complex metal products and components.
Computerised Bandsaws
Our CNC bandsaws offer precision cutting of a wide range of materials, making them an integral part of our manufacturing process. These bandsaws deliver accurate, repeatable cuts with minimal material waste, ensuring consistent quality across every project. Whether cutting metals, composites, or other materials, our CNC bandsaws are optimised for both speed and precision, enabling us to handle high-volume production runs or intricate, custom designs.
